Artel Style Personalized Shopping Agendas and Tour Consulting

Prague is a beautiful city steeped in history and teeming with culture, but it’s not widely regarded as a shopper’s heaven.

This is where I step in… Look, everyone has a certain skill
set; apparently mine includes locating fabulous finds worthy of purchase. Few things give me more pleasure than finding the perfect little something, be it a small trinket that I know someone will absolutely love, or an item that has been on my own ‘must find’ list for months. Needless to say, it’s always broken my heart to hear those famous words, “there’s nothing to buy in Prague,” because I can assure you, based on personal experience (and the often sadly precarious balance of my checking account), this statement is absolutely not true.

I'll share my coveted "insider's" perspective and knowledge of the local retail scene, which is the kind I of information I always hope someone will tell me when I visit their city.  I'll help you utilize your shopping time in Prague wisely - my opinion is unbiased and no store is providing me with a commission.

What is Personal Tour Consulting?

After getting a sense of your interests, we will meet for a shopping excursion, visiting shops that fit your specific shopping agenda.  The time, length, style and scope of shopping tour will be tailored to your specifications.

Price of tour depends on length, with a minimum of 2 hours.  Prices start at €200 per hour (including tax.)  Car hire with chauffer is available for an additional fee.

What's a Personalized Shopping Agenda?

After getting a sense of your interests, I will create a shopping agenda for you including shop names, addresses, opening hours, a map and a suggested itinerary for time management.  Lunch and coffee destinations may also be added upon request.

FAQ

How far in advance should I make a reservation?

Reservations should be made at least two weeks in advance-- although exceptions are made, so don’t be shy to ask. Please note I only accept reservations 3 months in advance.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?

Cancellation must should be made 72 hours in advance.

Cancellations made 72-24 hours in advance will be penalized with the cost of the two hour minimum.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be penalized with the full cost of the time reserved.

What if it’s raining or snowing on the day of my tour?

If you’re game, I’m game! However, if you’re simply not up to it –your cancellation will be accepted if received at least 3 hours in advance. However, please understand that we may not be able to reschedule.

Do you speak Czech?

Not anywhere near fluently, but that hasn’t stopped me yet. I know the key words needed for an exciting day of shopping.

How many people can join?

We limit the groups to 3 guests. Most shops we’ll visit are tiny, plus I want to be able to give the individual attention needed to everyone in the group.
